Davis Wedding

The day of the Davis wedding was a cold a rainy one. The bride, groom, and the wedding party toughed it out  a helped me create some beautiful images of their day!

EEEKKKK

So I haven't posted on this blog for almost 2 years, and it's on my business cards. Not very good self promotion, Amanda!! I keep putting it off so I can upload multiple posts at a time, with different sessions. Well, obviously that isn't working out too well for me. I'm just going to start posting. If I had done this even 1/2 a year ago, I'd have this blog full! I'm ready for photography to be my life, and therefore I need to do this. As I come across other sessions I've done in the past year or so, I'll post them up here! 

We are going to start with baby Kash. He is just under 5 months old, and such a cutie!!! Can't wait to photograph him more and watch him grow.

2009

I'm starting my first blog with some stuff from 2009. This was the year I graduated. I don't have a lot of stuff so I am putting it all into 1 post.

First off I have senior photos I did for my cousin Jenny. This was my first job out of college.





My second job was the Wedding I shot in June. The bride was non-traditional and wore and indigo dress. It was gorgeous. The bride is also my best friend.

They were married next to Rapid Creek in Johnson Siding.




In August I did an engagement session for my cousin Matt and his fiance Amanda. And yes, their last name is Grabow, so she is also Amanda Grabow.





My second senior session came later in August for Devin. This guy was a natural poser and made my job easy.


October came around and my sister wanted some family portraits. We loaded up the truck and spent the day driving around the Black Hills taking photos and having fun.


And lastly we get to Matt and Amanda's wedding. It was a chilly day in November. But turned out some beautiful photos.

And this last photo is my favorite of the year, and actually still one of my favorite wedding shots to date!!!

Welcome to Amanda Grabow Photography

This year I really want to get things going on my photography business. I only have a Facebook page as of right now, so I am creating this page as to expand my viewers. I know a lot of people don't have Facebook, so this is another way for me to reach the public.
I'll tell you a little about myself. My name is Amanda Grabow. I am 24 years old, and I live in Rapid City, SD. I have an amazing fiance and we are getting married on July 9, 2011. So in July don't be surprised when this changes to Amanda Mitchell Photography. Or I am also working on coming up with a better name for my business. This year has been the greatest of my life because we have made our little family grow with the addition of our son. Elio John Mitchell was born October 26th this year and we couldn't be more proud. We also have 2 crazy cats, and 1 gigantic dog. I'm sure they will all end up on here every now and then.

My goal is to have this turned into a Blog for my business by the end of 2010 so I can easily keep up with it in 2011. You may see a lot of posts coming up here in the next 2 weeks. If you don't get on me to get it finished!!!
